Cara Mengamankan Server CentOS 7 dengan ModSecurity

ModSecurity adalah firewall aplikasi web open source yang memungkinkan pembela aplikasi web untuk mendapatkan visibilitas ke lalu lintas HTTP dan menyediakan set aturan yang kuat untuk meningkatkan keamanan dan perlindungan yang tinggi. Ini akan menginstal mod_security di server Anda. Sekarang kita perlu mengkonfigurasinya di server kita.

Periksa dan konfirmasi integrasi modul ke Apache

Untuk menginstal set aturan CRS OWASP alih-alih aturan generik default dari repo resmi. Anda dapat mengunduh CRS OWASP dan menyalin file konfigurasi dan kumpulan aturan ke /etc/httpd/modsecurity.d/ folder.

Memastikan Keamanan Server dengan ModSecurity

Sekarang kita dapat menguji cara kerja ModSecurity di server kita. Coba saja akses file apa pun dari server melalui browser. Saya baru saja mencoba mengakses file /etc/shadow dari browser dan melaporkan kesalahan terlarang.

Memeriksa detail di server dari log ModSecurity (/var/log/httpd/modsec_audit.log). Inilah yang dilaporkan di ujung server.
