ping dan traceroute
Alat ini adalah alat paling dasar untuk memecahkan masalah konektivitas jaringan dari luar server.

Catatan :Beberapa server menonaktifkan Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP), yang berarti ping probe diblokir. Dengan demikian, Anda tidak mendapatkan respons dari ping , tapi itu tidak berarti jaringan sedang down.

nmap
Gunakan nmap perintah untuk memindai port untuk host tertentu. Beberapa server tidak menginstal utilitas ini secara default, jadi Anda mungkin perlu menginstalnya di mesin lokal Anda.
